- How did the passion for creativity come to you?
Despite the technical professions of my parents, I grew up in a creative family: mother and father were fond of drawing and philatelic writing. From childhood, I watched how oil paintings, plaster sculptures are created. Easel, brushes, canvases always stood in the center of the living room.
Creating my own family was also an impetus for the creative path. And I temporarily put aside the profession of an engineer. With a cold head and a warm heart, I began to get involved in the creation of hats.
- Why did you choose hats?
Hats and headdresses always attracted me, as well as make-up, the hair is what catches the eye in the first place and at one time I even thought of becoming a hairdresser. No doubt, all this arose in my head as if intuitively. This is exactly what I was looking for!
- What is most important for you in the embodiment of your ideas?
I undertake the most delicate and painstaking work, design forms and create a layout where every millimeter counts. And then the team of our masters gives me a hand!
Each season we create a new collection using exclusively manual labor and unique technologies, which we rightly consider copyright.
We use the best of its kind environmentally friendly felt and velor.
- Does your brand have a place for tradition or are you broadcasting something new?
We want to show something new, not like an ordinary hat. Collaboration with a local artist in the near future will result in a unique line of hats with an original print. We do not forget about the origins. In the name and philosophy of our brand, we want to reflect the Russian soul!
- What inspires you to create a new collection?
First of all, our customers and friends of the brand. For me, lively communication and stories that happen thanks to our hats are very valuable.
Certainly travel. A fresh look at another world and culture. While on the way, I always pay attention to local artists and their creations.
- Who do you see now as the main character of your collection?
Gabriel Chanel. The woman who turned over the idea of fashion! People like to complicate things. But to make it easier and more understandable is much more complicated.
The famous laconic boater without "distracting maneuvers." Focus is on the person, not the hat. That is what is close to me.
- Is it all in the hat?
If you honor yourself confidently, then this is your hat! If you are taking it off and you feel uncomfortable — Congratulations, you have found your headdress!
